Meet Galia

Galia Georgieva
Therapist. Entrepreneur. Humanitarian

She has over ten years experience working with individuals, couples, and families and has helped hundreds of clients explore their inner landscape, practice self-reflection, and live in good health.

Following her passion for good physical health, this year Galia is launching the I’Dazzling app focused to support people to build body confidence and healthy routine.

EKSPERTISE

As a qualified therapist, Galia helps clients to improve their confidence, psychological well-being and quality of life. She specialises in the treatment of addictive disorders such as alcohol dependency, drug addiction, gambling, compulsive shopping and sexual addiction. Galia also works with clients to treat stress-related disorders including anxiety, phobias, panic attacks, burnout, IBS and PTSD.  In addition, Galia is experienced in working with emotional regulation disorders including depression, self-harm, and emotional eating.

Influenced by psychology and neuroscience, Galia focuses on the root cause of the problem, rather than simply treating the symptoms

Galia is a professional member of the British Neuroscience Association, Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council, General Hypnotherapy Standards Council, and American Hypnosis Association.

HUMANITARIAN WORK

Galia follows plant-based lifestyle and in 2019 is an ambassador supporting a fundraising campaign for Battersea Dogs’ and Cats’ Home, a London-based charity with more than 150 years history helping lost, abandoned and stray animals to walk into new homes every year.

In the peak of the lockdown during the pandemic, from February 2020 to August 2020 Galia was giving shifts at Glenholme, a social care home for drug dependent adults and young people with dual diagnosis. Galia starts working closely with one of the clients with bipolar disorder and cocaine addiction, who manages a month later to give up cocaine entirely and rebuild his life and relationships.

In 2023 Galia is setting up her own Community Interest Company in support of adults and young people at risk of outbursts, burnout, neglect, isolation, exclusion, bullying, violence, and self-harm to experience the power of their inner voice and express themselves in healthy, respectful and efficient manner.
